About ShitChat

ShitChat — often typed as "shit chat" — is a free anonymous chat site for talking to strangers in realtime. There is no email, no password and no profile to build. You pick a username, see who is online, and start a conversation.

How ShitChat works

• Anonymous DMs. Browse everyone who is online right now and open a one-to-one chat instantly.
• Secret rooms. Create a private room, share the link, and chat with no signup at all. Wipe the room whenever you want.
• Groups. Permanent or temporary group chats you can invite people to with a link or a handle.
• Quests. Short public posts — questions or thoughts — that show up on the home feed.

Is ShitChat safe?

Conversations are ephemeral and accounts are optional, so you share as little as you like. ShitChat is meant for adults (18+) — be decent, and use the rules page if something goes wrong.
